About Demi's Dog House
At Demi's, located between Montrose and Midtown in Houston, Texas, pups become part of our family and are treated like our own! We are a boutique facility that offers personalized service to both our clients and their pups. We're dedicated to providing a fun and safe environment for pups both large and small (minimum 10+ lbs). Our indoor and outdoor play areas provide for ample socialization, exercise, and enrichment during daycare and allow for plenty of rest during supervised, cage-free sleepovers. We also offer professional grooming services in a unique setting which encourages a stress free experience.
About Demi and Me
My small but mighty Yorkshire Terrier, Demi (2003-2018), is the namesake and the inspiration for Demi's Dog House. After I completed graduate school and spent more than a decade working in Human Resources Management for the oil and gas industry, I decided to pursue my true passion for animals and ventured into the dog daycare/boarding/grooming industry. DDH became a reality in January 2009, and in 2026 we happily celebrating our 17 year anniversary!
While Demi's spirit is still strong within DDH, I have been lucky enough to be adopted by seven more pups over the years since her passing. I've also been grateful for the opportunity to foster many additional rescue dogs, including many from Red Collar Rescue, a local, volunteer-based, dog rescue that is often the last resort for animals who are left abandoned in high-kill shelters or on the streets of Houston. You will often be greeted by one of our fosters at the front desk as they await their furever home.

In addition to being Houston's first Certified Professional Animal Care Operator through PACCC, I am an active member of the International Pet Boarding and Services Association (IBPSA). I actively pursue continuing education and training in order to stay current on the pet care industry's standards and best practices and bring that education and training to the staff at DDH.
I love animals and am grateful for each day I get to spend with them at Demi's. I am truly honored to take care of your pups!
